Figure 02 represents the fusion of humanoid robotics with foundation AI models. In partnership with OpenAI, Figure has built a robot that understands natural language commands, reasons about its environment, and physically manipulates objects with remarkable dexterity. This demo shows Figure 02 making coffee, sorting objects, and responding to spoken instructions — all driven by a multimodal AI system. The Figure-OpenAI collaboration is one of the most significant developments in the humanoid robot space.
