MindsDB is an open-source AI layer for data platforms that lets teams build, deploy, and query machine learning and LLM-powered models with standard SQL. It connects to popular databases, data warehouses, and SaaS data sources (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, MongoDB, S3), exposing models as “AI tables” so predictions and generations can be invoked via simple SELECT statements. Available as cloud or self-hosted, it offers a MySQL-compatible interface, a Python SDK, and REST APIs, making it easy to integrate with BI tools and existing applications without rearchitecting data pipelines.
