Waymo One is the world's most advanced and commercially deployed fully autonomous ride-hailing service. Operating without any human driver, Waymo One uses a 360-degree sensor suite combining LiDAR, cameras, and radar with Waymo's in-house AI stack to navigate complex urban environments safely. The service has completed millions of autonomous rides in Phoenix, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and continues to expand. Waymo One represents the fullest realization of Level 4 autonomy in commercial operation — the benchmark every other autonomous vehicle program is measured against.
